We are seeking a part-time, remote executive assistant to work with the executives of both a progressive consulting agency and an accredited career school. The candidate will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including the management of the executives’ schedules and communications, writing and editing communications, industry research, preparing content, and social media management. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role with the opportunity for growth.
About the Job
Duties and responsibilities include:
- 15 hours per week
- Managing calendars, including scheduling meetings, speaking engagements or other events
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Prioritizing communications (phone, email)
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
- Researching speaking engagements, networking opportunities or other events
- Preparing and organizing meetings, speaking engagements or other events
- Preparing and developing social media schedules and content
Required skills:
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and multitask
- Confident personality and capable of being persistent when necessary
- Self-motivated, proactive, and forward-thinking
- Problem-solving and independent decision making
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), web browsers, and social media platforms
- Education: high school degree or GED; some college preferred
